Mordehai joined the movement at the age of fourteen. He was one of the main underground activists. He obtained documents and distributed them to Jews in the ghettos and other places. Mordehai also found hiding places for Jews who were in imminent danger. He was one of the builders of the Rózsa domb bunker. Mordehai saved the lives of women and young girls on the Death March. He worked within the framework of the “Glass House”, mainly obtaining weapons in case of an attack by the fascists. Mordehai was a member of the movement’s leadership from 1941.
He made aliya in 1947.
